Come celebrate our nation’s libraries, library workers’ contributions, and help promote library use and support. The ALA, American Library Association since 958 observed this week to recognize school, public, academic, and special libraries. At that time, American pastimes were less spent in reading, so publishers and the ALA formed the National Book Committee in 1954. “Developing strong Happy Family Life, improving income and health, and increasing reading time in their leisure time” were the goals set in the recognition.

Ogema library will be celebrating all week long April 3-9th. Stop in for the daily fun. Search for the birthday Elf on the Shelf for prizes. It is Foods for Fines – go fine free all month long. Treats, coffee and an egg STEM activity on Thursday afternoon at the library, as well.
